Knowledge vs. action, tinkering vs. teaching how birds to fly. There are some things in life where you can really get the point once you've exposed yourself to it. Now, I slightly understood to the core what "Barbell strategy" really meant, what a convex is LOL, and how PNL matters more after being liquidated thrice.
Antifragility really made sense after I lost almost everything in 2 days. Losing sleep, making bad decisions and understood the level of greed people in derivatives during the bull market earlier this year. One can only know after exposing himself into something.
Now i slightly understood why it was so easy for Aristotle to theorize after the fact.
In hindsight, every opinion is right.
Randomness plays a huge role to everything in us.
Am I devastated? Maybe. Am I grateful? Absolutely. I now have developed a small skin in the game. I'm proud that I took the action that I would advice to people and paid a price when it failed.
Every harm that I got in life just made me seek truth more.
Also grateful that the speakers Kapil, Jiddu , Taleb, Naval and Marcus helped me seek understanding and see the world as it is.
